Elegant day dresses, cocktail dresses or jumpsuits in neutral tones are recommended. The event will be held indoors, but you may need to walk on stairs so please consider this when choosing your footwear.
Gentlemen:
Smart or business casual is recommended (tuxedos not encouraged). Shirts and jackets are recommended, but ties are optional.
Dress Layers:
Please be mindful that Kyoto will be chilly in November and consider dressing in multiple layers or bring a coat.
Upon landing at Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Osaka, there are direct trains (”HARUKA Express”) that frequently depart from KIX to Kyoto Station which takes approximately 75 minutes. You can book train tickets online one month in advance, or buy tickets at the train station on the day. We recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid the long queue at the train station. Once you arrive at Kyoto Station, there is a taxi station right outside!
